TANZANIA 7-DAYS NYERERE SAFARI AND ZANZIBAR PARADISE

Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in you relax and recover from your journey.

After an early breakfast, you will depart by road for Nyerere National Park the one of Africa’s largest protected wildlife areas. The drive takes 6 hours and offers views of local villages, landscapes, and rural life. Upon arrival Nyerere national park you will get delicious picnic lunch in the bush lunch and continue afternoon game drive then drive to your lodge for relaxation.

Today is dedicated to an exciting full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. After an early breakfast you will head out into the wilderness with your professional guide to explore different areas of the park. Expect to see a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous bird species you will enjoy the picnic lunch may be served inside the park.

In the morning, you will enjoy a unique boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of the highlights of Nyerere National Park. This experience allows you to get close to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide range of birdlife while enjoying the scenic beauty of the river. After the activity you return to the lodge for an early lunch, then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach resort where you can unwind and enjoy the tropical surroundings.

After breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. During this tour you will explore the narrow winding streets, visit historical landmarks such as the Old Slave Market, the House of Wonders, and the Sultan’s Palace, and experience the vibrant local markets. You will also learn about the island’s history influenced by Arab, Persian, Indian, and European cultures.

Today you will take a short boat trip to Prison Island (also known as Changuu Island). The island is famous for its population of giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over a century old. You will have time to explore the island, relax on the beach.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari and beach holiday experience.
