3-DAYS MOUNT MERU TREKKING AND 4 DAYS SAFARI

Upon arrival, you will be met timeously at Kilimanjaro Airport by our Mlengu Tours transfer guide, who will welcome you with warm smile, assisted with your luggage and escorted to your comfortable private  vehicle then transfer you to your arranged hotel in Arusha. That evening, you will meet your mountain guide for a briefing on the hike and check your trekking gears and ensure that you have all necessary trekking gears for climbing mount Meru. Overnight stay at Forest Hill hotel- Bed and Breakfast.

Your adventure with Mlengu Tours begins with after breakfast in your hotel, followed by a pickup from your hotel and a scenic drive to the Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. Upon arrival, the porters will organize and pack your belongings for the trek, while you and your guide complete the registration. Your start hiking heading to the Miriakamba hut, Along the way you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and possibly elephants. For your safety, an armed ranger, provided by the National Park, will accompany your group throughout the hike.By late afternoon, you’ll reach Miriakamba Hut (2,500m), where our chef will prepare a delicious hot dinner and provide washing water. Enjoy the day with a breathtaking sunset before resting at the hut. Overnight stay at Miriakamba Hut. 

After breakfast, the trek with Mlengu Tours team continues with a steep ascent along the ridge of the saddle. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you walk, with stunning views of Mt. Meru Crater and the Ash Tray along the way. Upon reaching Saddle Hut (3,500m), you’ll have the chance to embark on an optional hike to Little Mount Meru (3,820m) with your guide. This additional trek is perfect for acclimatization and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. An early dinner will be served to ensure you get enough rest before your midnight summit attempt. Make sure you go to bed early and prepared for the challenge ahead. Overnight stay at Saddle hut. 

Our Tanzania classic guide will wake you at midnight for a light tea with snacks before beginning your summit attempt at 1:30 AM. The climb starts with a steep ascent from Rhino Point (3,800m) to Cobra Point (4,350m). The final section requires scrambling along a rocky ridge between the crater and the inner cliffs of Mount Meru. You’ll reach the summit of Mount Meru (4,565m) just in time for sunrise, where you’ll be greeted with spectacular views of the Meru Ash Tray and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Take a moment to enjoy the stunning scenery before beginning your descent. The descent takes you back to Saddle Hut for a brief break and brunch, before continuing down to Momella Gate. Your transfer vehicle will be waiting there to take you back to your hotel in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day Mount Meru trek with Tanzania Classic Tours. overnight stay at Forest hill hotel 

After an early breakfast, you will meet timeously by your expert safari guide at your hotel. Thereafter you will start your journey to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The Park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘’Tree of life’’, which covers most of the landscape of the park, The Tarangire National Park has the largest concentration of elephant which you can see bathing in the Tarangire river, as well as giraffes, monkey, impala, and many birds. It is also one of the most beautiful places to see lion & leopard. In the late afternoon, you will be driven to your Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. You will start your morning with scrumptious breakfast and get ready for another day of the wilderness. we commence our journey to the Serengeti. We will make several stops as we encounter Lion, Elephant, Zebra, Giraffe, Impala, Leopard, Cheetah, and many others in action whilst hunting and killing prey in the wilderness. Your Safari game drive through the central Serengeti, will allow you to view animals and capture the wilderness in all its magnificence and glory as you drive through the vast plains of the Serengeti. After breakfast, set out for another exciting day in Serengeti National Park, beginning with a morning game drive to explore different areas of the park. With the sun rising higher, wildlife activity increases, giving you the chance to see predators like lions, leopard and cheetahs on the prowl, as well as large herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebras. Enjoy the thrill of spotting wildlife and capturing stunning picture amidst the breathtaking scenery. Overnight stay at Sound of nature Luxury Camp.

You will start your morning with scrumptious breakfast and get ready for another day of the wilderness. Today you will be driven down into the Ngorongoro Crater for a magnificent game drive and wildlife watching. The Ngorongoro crater has a vast number of animals including lion, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, Africa elephant, Giraffe, cheetah, and it is a good opportunity to see the rare Black Rhino. Afternoon you drive to head Arusha town. Overnight stay at Omega Hotel-full board. 

After breakfast, embark on an exciting day to Lake Manyara National Park, this park is breathtaking scenery, characterized by lush forests, stunning escarpment views and the picturesque soda lake, home to heard elephants, troops of baboons and variety of bird species, including the famous pink flamingos.  late afternoon drive back to Arusha for relax. Overnight stay at Karibu Heritage House-Bed and Breakfast.  

On your last day in Tanzania, your driver will pick you up from your hotel, then you will be transported on time to the airport where we will wish you a safe journey and good luck.
